I love data visualization challenges and I’m always excited to see how other participants approach their dashboards. I’m curious to discover new solutions, understand how they work, and integrate them into my own projects.

For me, visualization challenges are the perfect mix of learning, creativity, and fun. In this session, I will show how inspiring they can be, blending nostalgic music with a bold neon pink theme and yes… a disco outfit, to create an experience that is both entertaining and genuinely informative.

I will showcase a selection of creative visuals and dashboards from different challenges, highlight clever design and storytelling elements with full credit to the creators, and apply these ideas live to a demo dashboard.

This session has already been delivered twice and has proven to work well both as an entertaining and informative experience.

Technical requirement: the room lights should be turned off or dimmed to fully experience the neon pink disco vibe.

A basic understanding of Power BI is recommended to get the most out of the practical examples. That said, the session is designed to be engaging and entertaining enough for a broader audience as well.

Preferred session duration is 60 minutes. The format is flexible and can be adapted to anything between 45 and 75 minutes.
