I work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics, and real-world deployment, with a particular focus on autonomous drone systems.

I am an Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country and a member of the Computational Intelligence Group, with more than 20 years of experience in research and applied projects. My expertise includes:
- Autonomous UAV navigation and control
- Machine learning (deep learning, LLMs, computer vision)
- Multi-agent systems and dynamics

Alongside my academic work, I collaborate with companies, investors, and institutions to evaluate and implement AI-driven systems in real-world environments. I regularly support:
- Technical due diligence for VCs and investors
- Feasibility assessments of AI and robotics systems
- Evaluation of drone and autonomous technologies under real-world constraints (regulation, military sector, scalability, operations)

I have contributed to the digitalization and automation of multiple companies, and I have advised startups in artificial intelligence and robotics. In parallel, I serve as an expert for the European Commission in areas related to AI ethics and digital education, contributing to initiatives on safety and security in digital learning environments.
