Hi, my name is Julian Gommlich. Happy to meet you!

I currently work as a software developer in Nuremberg; I see myself as a hands-on problem solver. To be honest, I don't like giving myself a role. A role not only presupposes skills and interests, but also excludes some.
That's why I'm happy to be able to do so much in my work: Programming software, designing architectures, ensuring quality, presenting results, driving projects forward, leading projects, bringing people together, making music together, sharing knowledge and taking initiatives!

My greatest passion is sustainability in IT - a fascinating field of research and a challenge for all software practitioners. I aim at finding and implementing ways to reduce the resource consumtion of web applications; doing my part in saving the world!

I am grateful that I don't have to do all of this alone, but have many great people in my life who accompany me. So let's meet and connect!
