Julian Kamphausen (Studio für unendliche Möglichkeiten) began his career in various roles in the performing arts. From 2013 to 2017, he headed the annual “Branchentreff der freien darstellenden Künste” (Independent Performing Arts Industry Meeting) for the Performing Arts Program, which, with over 500 participants, is now the largest theater congress in Germany. In 2016, Alexandra Wolf, re:publica, and Kamphausen conceived Performersion, a format in which actors from digital civil society and technology development engage in exchange, discussion, and cooperation with artists from the digital and performing arts. From 2018 to 2020, he was artistic director of the Hauptsache Frei Festival in Hamburg together with Susanne Schuster. He was co-founder and artistic director of prater.digital. Since 2021, he has been managing director, together with Gloria Schulz, of Studio für unendliche Möglichkeiten (Studio for Infinite Possibilities), which now designs, produces, and distributes public-benefit solutions for art, education, mediation, teaching, and research in Hamburg and Berlin: these include the new metaverse “GoetheVRsum” for the Goethe Institute and the highly innvoative "Protoverse" together with the HTW Berlin.
