Justin Camputaro is leads a team of professionals managing both the facility operations and student activities programs within the Husky Union Building (HUB), at the University of Washington,
Prior to joining UW, he served at Virginia Tech, University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, and Florida State University. He received his undergraduate degree (Biology) from Roger Williams University, his graduate degree (Higher Education) from the University of Connecticut (which now makes him Husky²), and his PhD (Higher Education) at Virginia Tech, in which his research focused on the role of the college union in building students’ sense of community.

Justin is active regionally and nationally with the Association of College Union International (ACUI), where he Chaired the Role of the College Union Statement Review Group (2018), co-created the Essentials of Facilities Management Training Seminar (2015), served on the International Education Council (2011-2014), and as the Region 6 Educational Coordinator (2010-2012) and College Bowl Team Leader (2009). Before moving to Seattle, Justin has spent his entire life on the east coast, originally from New York.
