Justine Nestory Massaba, is the Client support officer of Breakthrough Performance Limited, a company based in Dar Es Salaam-Tanzania dealing with corporate training in areas of leadership, sales, management, and soft skills for executive leaders in corporate companies. He is also working with a start-up company called Eagle Lead, as the head of operations. Eagle Lead focuses on empowering the next generation of leaders by conducting workshops, fireside chats, and podcasts series to positively engaging leaders in all levels of leadership to impact their organizations and society. He is also a content writer (#mover) of Empower Limited, a human capital consultancy firm specializing in talent acquisition and training. He is also volunteering with We Make Change Tanzania as an NGO membership manager. We Make Change is a UK based NGO with the vision of making positive changes in the world. He is also an ambassador of the World Literacy Foundation (WLF), an Australian based NGO which lifts young people out of poverty through literacy. He is also a member of the business and entrepreneurship committee of Southern African Youth Forum (SAYoF), a regional platform for youth organizations within The Southern African Development Community (SADC), which seeks to contribute to the more sustainable and effective participation of youth in the SADC region. He is also a member Rotaract Club of Dar City and a chairman of the leadership and professional development committee of the Rotaract Club of Dar City.
Previously, he worked as the Project engineer of Ravji Construction Limited, a Moshi-based construction company dealing with the construction of roads, bridges and culverts, content writer at Times Business News (US-based online magazine), content writer at Viral Times India (India based website), content writer at Samattec, trainee civil engineer at Tanzania Rural and Urban Road Agency (TARURA), trainee civil engineer at Roctronic Limited in Arusha.
Justine is a Graduate Civil Engineer (Class of 2019) from Mbeya University of Science and Technology. He is a registered Graduate Civil Engineer by Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and a member of the Tanzania Institute of Engineers (IET). Being a civil engineer gave him experience in project management, highway engineering, traffic engineering, water resource engineering, and engineering economics.
Apart from studying engineering, he loves to learn and is always curious to know and explore new ideas and knowledge from different fields. He attended a short course concerning entrepreneurship from University of Dar Es Salaam (UDSM), Innovation management from Africa Leadership Institute (ALI), Introduction to Business Management from Kings College of London, Chinese Language proficiency (HSK) level 1 from Confucius Institute- Tanzania, MS Excel for Data Analytics from Udemy, Results-Based Management from UNICEF, Conflict of Interest Risk Management from World Bank Group (WBG) Private Financing for Infrastructure and Sustainable Growth from Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Water Sanitation and Hygiene course (WASH) from UNICEF, Digital Component in Job Market from Ernest & Young-Tanzania, fundamentals of business expansion, and design-driven entrepreneurship from Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
Justine loves learning new things, writing, public speaking, reading, traveling, and meeting new people. Working in NGOs and start-up companies enabled him to gain skills in areas of business management, customer relation, entrepreneurship, capacity building, leadership, and team-building and communication skills.
