K.C. Halm is co-chair of the firm’s Technology, Communications, Privacy & Security practice and co-lead of the firm’s AI Team.

K.C. provides strategic advice and product counseling to companies developing and deploying AI systems. His recent AI-related work has focused on issues surrounding access to data for training AI systems; the development and adoption of emerging governance standards to ensure the development of responsible, trustworthy, accountable, transparent and ethical AI; the development of AI policy frameworks for federal and state legislation; and risks surrounding the deployment of facial recognition and computer vision technologies.
