Karan Soni is a Digital Forensic Expert with Chandigarh Police, Chandigarh, with operational experience across surface, deep and dark web investigations. His work focuses on dark web threat intelligence, threat-actor profiling, cryptocurrency tracing and data-leak monitoring.

He trains law-enforcement agencies and corporate teams, including Dark Web Operations Training for CISF and Advanced Cyber Threat Training for NCB, and has delivered a keynote on dark web investigations at VGU Jaipur.

Karan holds an M.Sc. in Cyber Security from National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, and is the author of the preprint 'The ₹99 Identity Market' (Zenodo, 2026).
