Throughout elementary and high school, I attended Colégio Antônio Vieira in Salvador, Bahia. I have training and proficiency in Portuguese (Brazil), English and Italian. I graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). I became a Gynecologist and Obstetrician at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto of the University of São Paulo (HCFMRP-USP) and specialized in Human Reproduction at the same institution, obtaining titles in the area of Assisted Human Reproduction from RedLara and FEBRASGO. Since 2002, I have been a civil servant at UFBA, playing the role of substitute professor and coordinator of the Climacteric Clinic at the Professor Edgard Santos University Hospital (HUPES) between 2002 and 2004. Since 2003, I became a civil servant at the same university, where I worked as a preceptor in the undergraduate and graduate programs at the Climério de Oliveira Maternity Hospital, being on call for 11 years. I took on the role of advisor to the Teaching and Research Management of the unit between 2015 and 2018 and, later, head of the MCO Telehealth unit between 2019 and 2020, being a member of the management team for 5 years. During this management, I promoted actions in Research and Innovations, such as the Interactive Project Session and the Health Technology Assessment Center (NATS) and was a member of the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) between 2015 and 2019. I coordinated, produced digital content and promoted face-to-face activities for several projects, including "Obstetric Skills Training" (2015-2017), "Integrated Network Training" (2017-2020), "PrecepSaúde" (2017-2020) and "COVID-19 Training" (2020). I am currently linked to Gynecology at HUPES UFBA, performing functions as a physician, preceptor and researcher, focusing on assistance, teaching and research in Human Reproduction in the Apoiar HUPES UFBA Program. For 12 years, I dedicated myself to clinical research, exploring studies on vitamin D and menopause for 2 years, and for 10 years, I participated in research on the quadrivalent HPV vaccine, being part of the NEP AOSID research team between 2003 and 2010. I worked as a physician at the CCVP Saúde da Família e Comunidade (SFC) between 2006 and 2008 and as a physician at the High-Risk Reference Maternity Hospital of the state of Bahia (MRPJMMN) during the same period, developing assistance projects in Gynecological Cancer Prevention and Family Planning for Adolescents. As a physician through a public examination for the Bahia State Health Department (SESAB), I was assigned to the State Center Specialized in Diagnosis, Assistance and Research (CEDAP). I worked as a gynecologist in Virology and as a researcher at the Research Center of this institution for 6 years, assisting women living with HIV-AIDS and emphasizing safe contraception and conception between 2011 and 2016. I hold the title of Specialist in STDs from the Brazilian Society of STDs. Since 2019, I have been an advisory member of the SESAB Telehealth Center, producing content for the teleeducational web series on Reproductive Counseling. I obtained a Master's degree in Medicine and Human Health from the Bahiana School of Medicine and Public Health (CAPES 4). I have worked as an assistant physician in Reproductive Medicine in a private clinic and in the university public service for over 20 years, where I assist infertile couples, perform preconception counseling, reproductive planning and use low and high complexity techniques to preserve reproductive capacity. This experience has enabled me to participate in professional representations in entities such as SOGIBA, SBRH and FEBRASGO, composing scientific committees and promoting the organization of several scientific and educational events. I am currently in the process of postgraduate studies in Doctorate in the Postgraduate Program in Medicine and Health of the Federal University of Bahia (PPgMS UFBA), in the sandwich format with Boston University, in the line of Thyroid and Human Reproduction. I research hormonal functions, genotypes, trace elements and endocrine disruptors.
