Karina Mendoza found her passion for Maternal and Child health when studying for her Bachelor’s at CSUN and while working with vulnerable communities and children in the behavioral health setting. She is now a health specialist at Child Care Resource Center, a newly trained doula and a certified lactation educator. Karina Mendoza strives to continue to expand and improve the doula services offered to Head Start families in order to improve the quality of life for mothers and infants.
