Katie has a background in IT quality and business communications. Her roles the last few years have included testing to ensure the highest level of quality, but also playing an integral role interacting with business units to discuss requirements and areas of improvement.
In 2016, with a desire to unite the Knoxville QA community, Katie founded KnoxQA, a chapter of the KnoxDevs community. The KnoxQA meetup has grown to over 120 members in the last two years, one of Katie's most proud professional accomplishments to date.
