A postgraduate, armed with clinical psychology as her area of specialization; Kavita has had more than half a decade of experience in education and training. Whilst this was her main vocation, she indulged in writing as her preferred past-time. After having a kid, she had to play a delicate work-home balance and pushed her full-blown writing passion into a career as a freelance copywriter. So, the writing journey which actually began in 2006 took center stage in 2011 and she has been writing ever since. Kavita is still passionate about education and training for professional development.

In the spirit of professional development and entrepreneurship, she was leading eChai Ventures (http://echai.in/) Chapter in Indore till 2019. She has been the ecosystem enabler and influencer and has been instrumental in bringing Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur startups on their feet with the echai programs since 2015.

Being passionate about reading, writing, arts and culture, she has founded "Kaffeinated Konversations" - a community that supports like minded people, provides a platform to them for intellectual sharing and stimulation and also encourages them to bring out their skills. Kaffeinated Konversations is a culture of social space by engaging readers, writers and artists through various meetups, projects and experiences. Kaffeinated Konversations Book Box is a brand product of the venture. She trains writers/bloggers too through workshops and training events. She is a highly sought after book reviewer.

Literature being her main focus, she loves to hope and dreams of India that reads. She is the Official Book Fairy of Indore, dropping books at various places all over the city or wherever she travels. This venture of Book Fairies originates from the UK and Kavita was the first book fairy from Madhya Pradesh to take up the reading challenge.

She also has a Content writing venture called “Studio Resurgam” (www.studioresurgam.com) wherein she not only indulges into freelance content writing but also mentors young budding writers through workshops and sessions.

She is Former Ambassador for Tsunamika (www.tsunamika.org) in the Madhya Pradesh region for 2 years.

She conducts training workshops in the field of education and creativity like Calligraphy workshop, learning and teaching, entrepreneurship and professional development programs.

She is a voracious reader and book addict. Her handbag; apart from containing innumerable nick-knacks that every woman carries, it always has a book, pen and diary as a constant companion for reading and jotting down her thoughts on the go.
