Kellie Hans Reid is Director, Child, and Family Health at CareSource. Kellie works to develop products, programs and solutions to improve health care outcomes and quality of life for children with complex health needs and their families. She is also responsible for the development and implementation of child welfare programs across all Markets and lines of business.
Kellie is a proven health care leader with more than 20 years of industry experience. In her most recent position as Director, Medicaid and Children’s Mental Health for the Kansas Department for Children and Families, she collaborated with managed care organizations and community stakeholders to improve mental health services for children and families. As Director, Communication and Recruitment for KVC Health Systems, she developed and executed the communication strategic plan that aligned with business goals that educated the public about current child welfare issues and resolutions to address those issues. Kellie also held the positions of Director, Intensive In-Home Services, Kansas Intensive Permanency Project (KIPP) Supervisor and In-Home Family Therapist Supervisor for KVC Health Systems in which she provided therapeutic services and programming for families who experienced child welfare to help build skills and keep families safely together.
Kellie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Mental Health First Aid Certified Trainer.
