His extensive career in retail management began at TJX Canada, where he progressed through various significant roles, eventually overseeing numerous store operations throughout Western Canada. His direct involvement in over 40 new store launches, including the first six HomeSense stores in Canada, showcases his capability to manage and enhance workforce performance and customer satisfaction.

In 2007, he took on a role as Director of Leadership Development at Global Expeditions in Texas, where he honed his mentoring and motivational speaking skills, developing comprehensive leadership training for project directors and managers. His leadership acumen was further recognized when he was promoted to Executive Director of Acquire the Fire, where he led nearly 100 staff and interns and introduced various new products and operational improvements.

Previously serving as an executive pastor at a large nondenominational evangelical Christian megachurch in Texas, Kemtal oversaw multiple campus locations and later dedicated himself to supporting those impacted by the church.
