Supercharging AWS networking with Gen AI using Kiro

AWS networking can be complex to design, manage, and troubleshoot, often requiring deep technical expertise. In this session, we’ll explore key networking services, including VPC, Transit Gateway, AWS Cloud WAN, and AWS Network Firewall, and we will examine the operational challenges teams commonly face in real-world environments.

We’ll demonstrate how Generative AI, powered by Kiro, can simplify troubleshooting, accelerate configuration tasks, and enhance day-to-day network operations. Attendees will learn how AI-driven workflows can improve operational visibility, reduce manual effort, and decrease mean time to resolution.

By the end of the session, participants will better understand common AWS networking scenarios, the role of core AWS networking services, and practical ways in which Generative AI can assist the networking world with diagnostics, configuration, and operational efficiency.

Discover how to modernize enterprise networking by combining AWS Cloud WAN and Amazon VPC Lattice.

Discover how to modernize enterprise networking by combining AWS Cloud WAN and Amazon VPC Lattice. This session explores the seamless integration of these services to create a unified networking solution that simplifies connectivity across your organization. Learn how to leverage Cloud WAN for global network management while using VPC Lattice for service-to-service communication, reducing complexity and improving security. We'll share real-world architectures and best practices for implementing a modern, scalable network infrastructure in AWS.

Pushing AWS networking to the next level with AWS Cloud WAN

AWS Cloud WAN changed the way how AWS networking is done....but during AWS re:Invent 2025, AWS announced several enhancements to AWS Cloud WAN. The most significant of these is the introduction of Cloud WAN Routing Policies, which enables customers to centrally control how traffic flows across their global networks. These policies provide capabilities such as route filtering, route summarisation, and BGP path manipulation, allowing for finer-grained routing control in multi-region and hybrid environments.

This presentation will break down the different core architectural building blocks of AWS Cloud WAN, explain how to design and implement multi-region traffic inspection, and walk through practical use cases that leverage the newly announced routing policy capabilities. At the end of session you will be able design and implement complex Cloud WAN architectures

Securing the AWS estate using AWS network firewall & AWS Route 53 resolver DNS firewall

Securing and managing network traffic efficiently is crucial for modern cloud architectures. AWS Cloud WAN, combined with Network Firewall and Route 53 DNS Firewall, provides a robust framework for protecting both egress and east-west traffic. This presentation explores how these security services enhance resilience, prevent threats, and enforce compliance across distributed environments. By integrating firewall policies and DNS security, organizations can strengthen their cloud infrastructure against cyber threats while maintaining optimal performance. Learn how to build a secure, scalable, and resilient network with AWS’s advanced security solutions.

Secure by Design: Advanced Threat Mitigation with AWS WAF, SDK Token Management & advanced features

In today’s evolving threat landscape, application security demands more than just traditional defenses. This session explores how to architect comprehensive protection using AWS WAF’s intelligent threat mitigation capabilities. Learn how to integrate client-side SDKs for enhanced token management, configure advanced WAF features such as Bot Control, Account creation and registration Fraud prevention for precise threat detection, and implement account takeover prevention features. Through hands-on examples, we’ll demonstrate how to orchestrate CAPTCHA challenges, leverage silent browser verification, and fine-tune token immunity settings to balance security with user experience. Discover best practices for combining managed rule groups with custom security rules to defend against sophisticated attacks—all while maintaining application performance. Whether securing login pages, API endpoints, or complex web applications, you’ll leave with actionable strategies to implement scalable, defense-in-depth security.

Designing and building a scale hybrid network from zero to hero

This session walks through the evolution of an AWS network architecture—from a simple single-VPC environment with basic VPN connectivity to a scalable, multi-region design. It explores how to use AWS Transit Gateway and AWS Direct Connect to support growing connectivity requirements and then transition to AWS Cloud WAN. AWS Network Firewall will be used for centralised inspection of egress and east–west traffic across all scenarios. Attendees will gain a practical, step-by-step approach to designing, implementing, and evolving the infrastructure needed to support this progression.
