Kimberly Ochs is a Social Emotional Learning Instructional Coach for the West Warwick Public School Departmen in Rhode Island. In this role, she supports teachers with research-based practices, models lessons, facilitates professional development, and writes curriculum. In addition, Kimberly is a Mindful Schools Certified National Mindfulness Trainer and leads statewide professional development in this area. She is an American Federation of Teachers National Trainer in Trauma-Informed Teaching Practices and has developed statewide online classes for the Rhode Island Department of Education. She is also trained in restorative practices. Kimberly is currently earning her master's degree in social-emotional learning at Waldorf University and is dedicated to creating relationship-centered schools with an emotions-matter mindset.
