Deputy Head of Internal Audit, Central Bank of Armenia

Komitas Stepanyan is deputy head of Internal Audit in the Central Bank of Armenia. More than 9 years he was head of IT audit division.
He holds a PhD degree and has CRMA, CRISC and Cobit foundation certificates. He is a graduate of a “Public Policy and Public Administration” Certificate Program at Tufts University — the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (USA).
Komitas has almost 20 years of extensive experience in the Internal audit, IT audit and information security. In recent years, he was actively engaged in different programs and forums and was a speaker in different international events in Europe, post-soviet countries and Africa. He is a trusted adviser for the board and top management on cyber security issues.
He cooperates with the International Monetary Fund as a short-term expert for cyber risk management and IT fraud examination.
