Seedstrapping, the new norm
Bootstrapping (v) - Eating a diet of nothing but Ramen noodles and jacket potatoes until your product earns revenue.
(n) - The process by which a simple system activates or initialises a more complex system
Seedstrapping (v) - Eating a diet of nothing but Ramen noodles and jacket potatoes until your product earns revenue. But then the sh*t hits the fan and you need a lump of money to scale/take a month off to get better nutrition before you scale.
Seedstrapping is becoming the new norm. Build a product, earn some revenue, prove concept, get to a point where you need a cash injection to be able to scale and/or hire/spend on marketing/buy a chair that doesn't feel like the entirety of your body is being ironed while you work. And a new lamp so you can see what light looks like. Maybe a picture frame so you can see your family sometimes.
How do you do it? Why would you do it? How does it differ from traditional routes and straight up bootstrapping?
We'll also do a dive into the current startup investment world and why bootstrapping/seedstrapping has become a necessity.
I'll also provide my own personal Startup Lexicon to attendees so they can learn the REAL meaning behind the bullshit terms that exist in the world of startups.
