Kristina McCalla is a speaker, writer, interior designer, and nonprofit leader whose work explores how belonging is created through the spaces we shape, the relationships we build, and the ways we show up for one another.

As the Founder and Executive Director of Rooted Interiors, she leads an organization that creates thoughtfully furnished homes for families transitioning out of homelessness. Her background in design and nonprofit leadership has shaped her perspective on the connection between environments, human behavior, and belonging.

Through her work, Kristina has built relationships across businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations, bringing people together around shared purpose. She serves on the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is pursuing studies in political science and public administration.

Through storytelling and practical insight, Kristina challenges audiences to consider how intentional leadership, meaningful connection, and everyday acts of welcome shape the cultures we create. She believes belonging is not simply something we find, but something we build.
