Kristine Seguin is a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, mom of four, and all-around animal advocate. She fell in love with chonky cat rehabilitation after fostering a 43-pound cat, which inspired her to create The Big House Sanctuary and Rehab, the world’s only registered non-profit dedicated to helping extremely overweight cats in the shelter system. With nearly a decade of experience in rescue, from fundraising to directing multiple rescue organizations, Kristine is passionate about supporting shelters, educating owners, and making sure every cat gets the care they deserve.
