Kunal is a Ph.D. student at IIT Delhi, where he is developing and improving foundation models for robotics applications. His research focuses on physically grounded reasoning, causal world modeling, and combining multimodal foundation models with deep reinforcement learning to build safe, general-purpose robotic agents that truly understand the real world.

With hands-on experience in embodied AI, LLM-guided RL, and edge-optimized multimodal robotics, Kunal works at the intersection of large-scale AI and physical intelligence. A former research intern at IISc Bangalore and IIT Gandhinagar and recipient of multiple government grants, he is dedicated to turning today’s powerful foundation models into tomorrow’s intelligent machines.
