Nicholas is a Senior Expert Engineer in Shopee, under the Engineering Infrastructure organizer. He has designed and implemented solutions to enable the transition of containers from Mesos-based ecosystems to Kubernetes. Currently he is the tech lead for the Elastic Machine Virtual Machine engineering team, working on bringing virtual machines to a container-based system in order to leverage cost savings in the goal to transit traditional bare-metal architectures to cloud-native solutions.
