Kyla Brown is a Project Manager at Codecademy. She has a B.S. in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University. Kyla grew up in New York to her Trinidadian mother and African-American father who pushed her to explore the world of tech. She immediately fell in love with the impact she realized she could make.

Kyla is continuing her education at New York University to become a certified Scrum Master this spring. Kyla’s passions are entrepreneurship, creating cool digital experiences, and teaching others. This year, Kyla founded Product Gems to provide product development insights and resources to non-technical entrepreneurs.
