Kyle Edmiston, CDME, is president and CEO of Visit Lake Charles and a nationally recognized leader in the travel and tourism industry with nearly two decades of experience. Known for his strategic vision and collaborative leadership style, he has played a key role in elevating Southwest Louisiana on regional, national, and international stages while strengthening partnerships across the community. His service includes leadership roles with Destinations International, Brand USA, U.S. Travel Association, Travel South USA, and the Louisiana Association of CVBs. His honors include the 2023 Destination Organization Leadership Award, the Marion “Butch” Fox Advocacy Award, and recognition as National State Tourism Director of the Year. He currently serves as chair-elect of the 2025–26 Destinations International Board of Directors.
