I grew up in South-eastern Arizona in the small town of Saint David. I first gained an passion Linux based operating systems, the Free Software Movement, Open Source, and systems level programming in high school. That passion led me through an education, and to work for a number of influential companies, such as Intel, SUSE, Lendio, etc. While working for SUSE, I innovated with members from AMD, creating the first tooling to provide attestation for first generation of EPYC processors. Now employed by AMD, I continue to contribute and support the open source community in its use of EPYC processors for securing Confidential Containers. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, working on personal software projects, spending time with his family, and reading a variety of different literature.
