Getting our European Accessibility Act together
How do we go from an app reading backspace when selecting an important button to an app somebody with an impairment can use, safely?
This was a question we faced in spring 2023. The state of accessibility in our app could be improved at that time. Fortunately, we were migrating to native OS, so we could make the changes that were needed.
I will show you how we took the European Accessibility Act and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and created a workable and clear way to implement them in our app with over 80 components. And how we got everyone involved to get it done.
