A former elementary, middle, and high school administrator, Laura Schonberg's current role as Highly Capable Program Director in the Mount Vernon School District has provided tremendous opportunities in examining building and district practices that impact access and equity in academic settings. Closely collaborating with OSPI, ESD 189, and Northwest Gifted Child Association, she's working to promote learners and teaching that goes outside the box.
