Area of Expertise
In the not very distant past, we had to spin up our own server and manage a whole infrastructure just to get our application deployed and available to our users. Today's world is moving from on-premises to cloud deployments, and that has completely changed the picture.
In this talk, we will explore the capabilities that the Cloudflare Edge network offers and how you can benefit from it to build and ship faster websites and applications.
Today's digital landscape has become a fast-paced environment where businesses constantly look for ways to increase efficiency and improve user experience. Micro-frontends offer a new approach to front-end development, addressing these challenges by breaking down monolithic front-ends applications into smaller, independent, and reusable components, making them easier to deploy and scale.
This talk will explore micro-frontends and how to gradually incorporate the architecture into existing codebases using Cloudflare Workers. It can be time-consuming to completely migrate a legacy application using the micro-frontends approach, so we'll explore ways to effectively and efficiently adopt and implement micro-frontends.
Gone are the days when remembering a combination of usernames and passwords was necessary. We now live in an era of digital transformation where security is paramount. Passwords have been the go-to authentication method for years, but they are no longer sufficient for securing online transactions.
In this talk, I will take you on a journey beyond passwords and into the future of user authentication. I will discuss the limitations of passwords and provide an overview of the current landscape of alternative authentication methods. From biometrics to multi-factor authentication, I will break down the pros and cons of each method and provide you with valuable information to help you build secure applications.
Join me as we explore the next generation of user authentication together.
With the advent of serverless, we don't have to worry about managing our own servers. Thanks to the introduction of serverless applications, you can now write a function and deploy it to the cloud.
In this talk, we'll build a serverless application using Cloudflare's stack. We’ll use Pages to host our static content, Functions for managing the dynamic part of our app, KV to persist data, and Wrangler to do local development together with Cloudflare Pages offerings like unlimited preview environments, fast builds, and integration with a Git client.
