Lauren Roth, MD (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and inaugural director of the Service Learning Course at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Roth received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology at Emory University. She attended medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. She completed her residency in pediatrics at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and was awarded the “Super Senior” Resident of the Year Award during her final postgraduate year. Since becoming faculty at Montefiore Einstein, Dr. Roth has received the Award for Innovation in Medical Student Education (AIMSE) grant at Einstein in 2022, the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) Emerging Innovators Grant in 2023, and the Academic Pediatrics Association Early Career Teaching Award in 2024. She has published and presented widely on medical education topics including LGBTQ+ health education, service learning, and innovation in medical education.
