Modern Architecture in the Cloud of 2025

In 2025, the large public clouds — Azure, AWS, and others — are already established infrastructures of services. The modern architecture is ubiquitous in the Cloud. But what about the move at scale under reliability and security conditions? And what about the role of AI in the modern architecture? This session follows up the concept developed in the last years and focuses on application and infrastructure architecture in the public cloud, architecture frameworks at Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, cloud native services, the landing zone concepts and other related topics.

Moving to Cloud Maturity: Build and Maintain Your Cloud Landing Zone

As the scale and complexity of their applications in the public cloud increase, the companies are challenged with common issues in terms of governance, security, connectivity, service management etc. This session will help you understand the concept of Landing Zones and show you how to implement and maintain the key components to address these kind of issues. Focus on Azure, but applicable to AWS and other cloud hyperscalers.

Intelligent Infrastructure: The AI at the Service of the Cloud

Intelligent Infrastructure is a rapidly evolving concept that leverages advanced technologies to optimize the performance, reliability, and security of IT systems. By incorporating predictive maintenance, intelligent assistance, and other innovative approaches, organizations can enhance their infrastructure's quality of service, ultimately benefiting the applications that rely on it.
In this session we will study principles like AIOps, Autonomous Agents, and other, to enhance the reliability, performance and security of our Cloud infrastructure.
We will also learn from the Cloud Service Providers (Azure, AWS) how they implement the Intelligent Infrastructure in the Public Cloud, and how we can leverage their experience and technologies for the benefit of our applications.

The control of Cloud resources in a constrained environment: to be or not to be Cloud confident

Behind the enthusiastic move of deploying and consuming public cloud resources with so much ease and rapidity hides a more delicate moment to come: when realizing that your assets are vulnerable and open to bad intentions. This aspect became a real concern, as more and more attacks are perpetuating these days against various companies and institutions. Equally, the same facility in consuming the public cloud brings alive a large number of resources, often without or with limited governance around them.

This session will be the occasion of sharing experiences, processes, implementations of structured frameworks for controlling and governing public cloud resources to report compliance, protect against bad practices, or remediate configurations. Concrete focus on Microsoft Azure, but applicable on AWS and other public cloud providers.

Control and Secure your Azure Assets with Azure Policy

Behind the enthusiastic move of deploying and consuming public cloud resources with so much ease and rapidity hides a more delicate moment to come: when realizing that your assets are vulnerable and open to bad intentions. This aspect became a real concern, as more and more attacks are perpetuating these days against various companies and institutions. Equally, the same facility in consuming the public cloud brings alive a large number of resources, often without or with limited governance around them.
Follow me in this session, we'll put in place a bit of order and control of your Azure resources, by using Azure Policy - and apply it to report compliance, protect against bad practices, or even remediate configurations. You will feel better and more comfortable in the cloud at the end of it.

Onboarding a Historical Company on the Cloud Journey, or from Experimentation to Success

This session, oriented on governance and strategy, will unveil you the challenges we have encountered and the solutions we've applied to succeed in onboarding one of the most important public companies in France to the Azure cloud. Real life customer feedback and insights here.

Private DNS in complex Azure environments with Azure DNS

In this session we will have a deep dive of the Azure Private DNS service, one of the most useful managed infrastructure services in Azure. We will make a particular focus on solutions for complex Azure multi-VNET topologies, as they are envisioned in large companies.

Multi-tenant Identity and Azure Resource Governance with Azure Active Directory

Today's complex enterprise environments involve the existence of multiple identity structures, especially in the case of cloud resource management. The management and governance of Azure Active Directory tenants, cloud & federated identities, and authorizations and roles on Azure subscriptions and resources, will be the purpose of this session.

Moving to Cloud Maturity: Build and Operate Your Cloud Landing Zone

As the scale and complexity of the applications in the public cloud strongly increase in the last years, the companies are challenged with common issues in terms of governance, security, connectivity, service management etc. This session will help you understand the concept of Landing Zones and show you how to implement and operate the key components of the landing zones. Focus on Microsoft Azure, but applicable to AWS and other cloud hyperscalers.

The Control and Security of Cloud Resources: How to Be (or Not to Be) Cloud Confident

Behind the enthusiastic move of deploying and consuming public cloud resources hides a more delicate moment to come: when realizing that your assets may be vulnerable and open to bad intentions. This became a real concern, as more and more attacks are perpetuated against companies and institutions. As well, the same facility in consuming the public cloud brings particular risks of cloud resources governance.

This session will be on sharing experiences, processes, implementations of structured frameworks for controlling and governing public cloud resources to report compliance, protect against bad practices, or remediate configurations. Concrete focus on Microsoft Azure, but applicable on AWS and other public cloud providers.
