Dr. Lech Kalinowski is a PhD-trained physicist, Senior AI Systems Engineer, and hands-on builder working across local inference, agentic systems, mobile AI, and physical AI interfaces. His background spans condensed matter physics, printed electronics, data science, blockchain, local LLM infrastructure, and embedded prototyping.

At Callstack, he works on practical AI engineering, including local and mobile AI systems, AI-assisted development workflows, React Native Evals, and agentic tooling. He is the author of technical work on context engineering, multi-agent CLI workflows, quantization, and local model deployment. He previously served as CTO at Panamint, where he worked at the intersection of sustainable electronics, nanomaterials, and applied data science.

He is currently building Vault OS, an experimental handheld AI terminal that connects ESP32-based hardware, OLED/e-paper UX, local models, backend orchestration, and OpenClaw automation into a physical control surface for personal agents.
