When You Just Have to Roar! Supporting Social Emotional Dev & Self Regulation

The children's book, When You Just Have to Roar! by Rachel Robertson provides a wonderful learning opportunity for early childhood educators to better set early learning environment expectations that will assist in limiting or avoiding big behaviors. During this session, we will use the book to discuss ways that setting these clear expectations through positive communication and direction can further support and develop the children's social emotional skills and self regulation.

Effective Leadership: Emotional Intelligence & Empathy

How well does your staff communicate and function with you? With each other? What leadership model is currently implemented in your program? During this session, we will discover how emotional intelligence and empathy allows us as leaders to better handle professional relationships. Having the ability to connect with and lead our staff through emotional intelligence is essential for effective leadership. We have been hyper focused on these interactions with the children...what about our staff?
