Lisa Bobbitt is Cisco’s Principal Privacy Engineering architect missioned with embedding data governance, privacy, and security controls into Cisco’s processes, applications, and offerings. As a member of Cisco’s Privacy Office, Lisa’s belief that privacy is a human right keeps her focused on innovative ways to embed the concept of legal use for all data as well as privacy awareness and transparency, governance, and technology across Cisco. Her work is built on the foundation of 20+ years of working in datacenter connectivity, mobile routing protocols, 3D collaboration innovation, voice/video/data in Stadium Vision, government adaptation, and multiple security roles including Cisco’s Secure Development and Operational Lifecycle and trustworthy systems. Lisa has a BS in Computer Science from NCSU and an MBA from Duke University.
