Who Is Governing Your Life? for Women to Lead with Purpose
Women lead organizations, teams, families, communities, and change. Yet in the process of managing so many responsibilities, many highly capable women discover that they have become excellent at responding to what life demands while losing clarity about where their own lives are going.
Who is governing your life? you, your circumstances, other people’s expectations, or an endless list of responsibilities?
In this session, Brazilian governance and international relations leader Liz Rodrigues brings an unexpected perspective to personal leadership: What if we applied some of the principles used to govern organizations and cities to the way we govern our own lives?
Drawing from her experience in public governance, strategic planning, international relations, and leadership as well as her own journey through change, difficult decisions, and reinvention, Liz introduces Governance of Life®, a framework that invites women to intentionally examine their roles, priorities, values, relationships, decisions, purpose, and legacy.
Through storytelling, reflection, and a practical Life Governance Check-in, participants will identify an area of their lives where they may be operating on autopilot and ask some questions.
Participants will leave with more than inspiration. They will leave with a practical way to evaluate competing priorities, reconnect decisions with purpose, and identify one concrete action they can take within seven days.
Because leadership does not begin when we receive a title or responsibility. It begins with the way we lead ourselves. And when a woman learns to intentionally govern her own life, she becomes better prepared to lead, influence, and create meaningful impact everywhere else.
