Lotte Geunis is a parliamentary advisor who has worked at the United Nations Development Programme, the World Bank and the Open Government Partnership. Since 2019 she works with INTER PARES, the European Union’s global programme for parliamentary strengthening. Lotte has extensive experience across Europe and the developing world, with a decided soft spot for the latter.

Alongside her work in governance, Lotte is pursuing a PhD on youth participation in education policy. She is a part-time researcher at the KU Leuven, where she supports inclusive education through a number of ERASMUS+ projects.
