Lukas Karlsson is a Cloud Architect, Developer Advocate, and Software Engineer, and is currently the Founding Consultant at Altissimo. He previously spent 20 years supporting genomics research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. He is a Google Developer Expert in Cloud and a Google Cloud Champion Innovator.

He is the lead organizer of GDG Cloud Boston, a Google Developer Group focused on cloud technologies, and is the lead organizer for Slack Boston, a Slack Community for admins, developers and enthusiasts. In his spare time, Lukas can be found doing puzzles, especially cryptic crosswords, riding his bike, and taking pictures of graffiti and street art.
