My work through several institutions intertwines teaching, active practice, research and consultancy, where I have applied over 16 years of dedicated experience in higher education research and arts education. My expertise in arts education and curriculum development shapes the next generation of educators and arts professionals. I also have experience in teaching and administration of general music education in public and private primary/secondary school systems.
As a musical arts educator, practitioner and research supervisor/ examiner at University of the Southern Caribbean ( TT), North-West University(SA) ,The University of Zambia, Copperbelt University(ZM) and Rusangu University(ZM), I've honed a niche in qualitative research in general and inclusive multicultural arts education in particular. I have also for the past 18 years run Foundations Music Academy, a lifelong community based project close to my heart.These competencies, coupled with my passion for general music education and practice, drive my mission to foster artistic - cultural understanding through academia as well as communities of practice.
