Dr. Lychanda Brown is a Mississippi native. She is a graduate of Mendenhall High School, JPS-Career Development Center, Hinds Community College, & Miracle University, Inc.

She has been in the beauty industry for 17+ years. She is the owner of Shekinah Glory Hair Designs in Raymond, MS. Dr. Brown is a cosmetology instructor at Hinds Community College where she also serves as Curriculum Coordinator. She is the founder of E-4 Mentoring Society & Co-Founder of The Education Connection Team. She is a published author, a book titled “Born for Purpose”.

Dr. Brown is an advocate for continued education, standing on the belief that continued education is a major key to success. She says Ray Kroc said it best, “When you’re green, you’re growing. When you are ripe, you rot.”

She is passionate about preserving the beauty industry and imparting into the lives of others. Her ultimate mission is to "Educate, Empower & Encourage Excellence". For one plants, another waters but its God that gives increase. I Corinthians 3:6-7.
