- Templating – Build reusable, modular, and maintainable pipelines
- Speed Optimization – Reduce execution time on hosted agents

Cutting Dev Toil with GitHub Models and GitHub Actions
Do you recognize yourself in one of the following situations?
- A bug with almost no information. Having multiple chats with the submitter before you can start fixing it.
- Making the release notes yourself, but you need to search the backlog for all the items to summarize.
- A PR with lot's of files changed, but no description.
During this session we will automate the scenario's above. First by writing our prompts and using prompt engineering to have better output. After that we will combine it with GitHub Models, MCP servers and GitHub Actions to take it to the next level. So we as developers can focus more on delivering value. Expect to see a lot of demo's and if time permits: self-healing pipelines.
Should you start using spec-driven development?
Six months after shipping a feature, a bug appears. You search through pull requests and commit messages to find why a decision was made. Scattered across old conversations, forgotten Slack threads, or locked in someone's head who's now on another team.
Spec-driven development promises to fix this by making your decisions explicit and searchable. But does it actually work? Especially as AI-assisted development becomes more common, having clear specs becomes even more critical. In this session, we'll explore what specs really are, how they differ from requirements documents you've written before, and most importantly, whether the investment pays off for your team. We'll dig into how spec-driven development works and what challenges teams face when trying to maintain specs over time. You'll leave with a clear framework for deciding if spec-driven development is worth adopting in your workflow.
