Madhan Raj Kanagarathinam received his M.S. and Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in 2024. He has ten years of experience designing and developing TCP/IP protocols, Multipath TCP, and other network/transport layer protocols. He is a software architect at Samsung R&D Institute in Bangalore, India. He is the author of 15 articles and more than 25 inventions. His research interests include communication and network, including Pre-6G/Beyond 5G, Next Generation Mobile Networks, wireless transport layer protocols, and cross-layer optimization techniques. He won the Br. C. Selvam Award at IIT Madras based on his research performance. He also won IEEE Bangalore Young Technologist of the Year in 2020. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the ACM.
