I have earned a bachelor's and master's degree in biochemistry, as well as a PhD in microbiology. Throughout my scientific journey, I have been focused on vaccine development to prevent infectious diseases in children. I carry experience from researching and developing conjugate and protein based vaccines against Streptococcus pneumoniae and Neisseria meningitidis. Since 2019, I have embraced a new and exciting challenge in my career: working on a protein-based vaccine targeting Group B Streptococcus. This endeavor is yet another opportunity for me to contribute to the preservation of children's lives by preventing the occurrence of this particular infection.
