Manny De Leon is a Ph.D. student in Cultural Studies at UC Davis and holds an M.A. and B.A. in Asian American studies from UC Irvine. Bringing together his curiosity in tech, cultural production, and Filipinx American studies, Manny's research scrutinizes the processes and tensions rendered and exhibited within Filipino digital enclaves. In this study, Manny is particularly engaged in the global interactions and cultural implications of the transpacific dialogue between the homeland and state-side Filipinos.
