Marcel Otte holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with a focus on Renewable Energy Systems from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, including research stays at the Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna and Vietnam National University in Hanoi. He completed his Master's degree at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands while working at Porsche AG in the field of electric mobility. To pursue a PhD, he joined OFFIS as a Senior Researcher in the area of energy informatics, with a focus on flexibility and aggregators.
