Hoy Marcelo Burgos trabaja como consultor externo, llevando proyectos de auditoría ofensiva en distintas disciplinas y dirigiendo la investigación del colectivo Hackfluency. Este año sumó a su recorrido un paso por 7ASecurity, especializándose en auditorías profundas de código, después de haber pasado por Novared y OZnet, donde ejecutó multiples evaluaciones ofensivas en banca, gobierno y retail, incluyendo fallos críticos con ejecución remota de código en sistemas gubernamentales y compromisos completos de Active Directory en entornos bancarios.

Es autor de "Bitácora Red Team" (publicado también en inglés como Red Team Logbook, con edición física en Amazon), habló dos veces en BSides Chile (Advanced SQL Injection, 2019, y Darknet Horrors #1, 2023), dio una charla de Bug Bounty junto a la comunidad de CyberSources, ha reportado y cobrado vulnerabilidades en programas privados de bug bounty.

En paralelo, cursa una Diplomatura en Filosofía de Ciencias y Sistemas Complejos, e investiga por cuenta propia temas tan distintos como sistemas cognitivos o física.
