Marcelo is part of Cisco’s innovation arm, where he is leading the design of novel zero-trust technologies for securing autonomous AI applications and systems. His work covers Identity and Access Management (IAM) within and across Auth domains, semantic access control to tools and enterprise data, and novel architectures to gain visibility into how AI accesses and uses sensitive data. He has 90+ patent applications and 95+ publications, including scientific papers and a Cisco Press book.
