Marianne has been working in technology for more than 15 years. In 2008 she started her own company Connected Solutions. In the last years her focus is on bringing the public sector in the Netherlands to the cloud with Office365 and having the first Province in the Netherlands working and archiving in SharePoint Online!
Having her own company means enjoying many different roles and responsibilities, which vary from developer, project leader, trainer and consultant.
She a driving force behind the SharePoint community co-running the Dutch Information Worker User Group (DIWUG)-www.diwug.nl with over 1500 community members, for which she organizes free events. Marianne is also the lead editor for the DIWUG SharePoint eMagazine (http://www.diwug.nl/e-magazines/pages/default.aspx). She speaks at both local and international conferences and has written a number of articles about SharePoint development.
In 2010 she was awarded MVP for SharePoint.
