Marichal J. Brown is a highly skilled and experienced second generation barber, as well as a cosmetologist and educator, licensed in California and Nevada. He has over 35+ years in the hair industry and his passion has led him to serve as Barber Director for such renowned platforms as Paul Mitchell the School Sacramento and Paul Mitchell MTI. His exceptional teaching skills have brought him acknowledgment as 2023 & 2024 'Instructor of the Year' nominee for the CT Barber Expo.
In 2012, Marichal published his first book, entitled: HAIRitage: Celebrating the Legacy of the Barber Shop with Art, Poetry & Jazz. He is co-owner of HAIRitage Barbershop, located in Sacramento, CA. He is also the founder of his own product line, M:xClusive Product Co.
