Marilyn Carrasquillo holds a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems and has several years’ experience teaching in various technology areas, providing real-world experiences in the classroom from her years of experience in the private sector. She is also committed to influencing the IT landscape in her role as co-Principal Investigator of a generous grant funded by the National Science Foundation. Marilyn spearheads the initiative that focuses on bridging the skills gap in Cloud computing, as more females and underrepresented students are introduced to these emerging technologies and programs in the IT field.
