Marissa Yi Hsuan Wu is an emerging scholar in SEL and an assistant professor at National Taiwan Normal University. She has a master's degree in educational psychology from Taiwan and USA, and a doctoral degree from Australia. Upon completing her studies, she returned to Taiwan and dedicated herself to promoting SEL in schools and communities. She played a key role in advocating for SEL in Taiwan and helped establish the Social Emotional Education and Development Center (SEED). Marissa serves as a committee member for the National Academy for Educational Research's "Talent Cultivation Approach for SEL," a board member of the Taiwan Association for Positive Behavior Support, and a member of the SEL interest group in the International School Psychology Association (ISPA). She has presented her research on SEL at international conferences on universal prevention and intervention programs, teacher professional development and training, and kindergarten and school-based approaches.
