Markie oversees Active Minds’ work in higher education. Markie received her bachelor’s from Marquette University, during which. she was an Active Minds' student leader. She received her Master’s in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University-Bloomington, and served as a graduate assistant for New Student Orientation. Before joining the Active Minds Staff, she worked at Auburn University focusing on mental health programs, and was the advisor for the Active Minds chapter.
